Shantam Institute of Nursing College, founded in 2017 under the Vaishali Education Trust, is dedicated to training skilled, caring, and professional nurses who are ready for today’s healthcare needs. With the guidance of our visionary board of directors, we focus on continuous learning, encouraging students to gain knowledge, face challenges with confidence, and grow with strong values. The college offers modern facilities, including well-equipped labs for Anatomy, Nursing Fundamentals, Community Health, Maternal & Child Health, Nutrition, and Computers. We also provide comfortable hostel facilities and excellent clinical training at Civil Hospital and leading multi-specialty hospitals. Our highly qualified and experienced teachers ensure that students receive the best academic and practical education. At Shantam, we are proud to create graduates who are confident, responsible, and prepared to serve in both government and private healthcare sectors

I am very proud to be the Principal of Shantam Nursing College run by Vaishali Education Trust with the mind to contribute to the health services. Health Service is a vital & significant way in health care delivery system.

Our institution is identifying health needs of the society. Planning and providing quality care in collaboration with other health care professionals and community groups. College of nursing aims at providing higher education to prepare nurses effectively for meeting the health needs at local, national and global levels.

A scientific approach in nursing helps in providing quality care, achieve excellence in the field of nursing education, administration and practice.

The faculty of our institution shape quality of students in nursing profession to serve the society. Our institution participates in the activities of contributing of preventing illness and promotion of health. One of the unique feature of college of nursing is to acknowledge the best student with Gold Medal under Gujarat University.

Our future plan is to bring down all clinical speciality courses as well as a doctorate programme in nursing education .

Courses

Basic B.Sc. Nursing

Course Duration: 4 years (Full time degree course)
As of 31st Dec, minimum age 17 years
Must have passed Higher Secondary Examination with English Subject (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
General 45% marks (40% for SC/ST)

GNM

Course Duration: 3.5 years of diploma course
As of 31st Dec, age should be minimum 17 years and maximum 35 years
Must have passed Higher Secondary Examination (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) with minimum 40% marks or ANA training
General – 40% , SC/ST – 35%

ANM

Course Duration: 2 years
As of 31st Dec, 2022 minimum age 17 years and maximum 30 years
Must have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination with English as a subject

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing

Candidates must be registered nurses with the State Nursing Council and should have completed GNM diploma or equivalent
Must have passed GNM diploma with at least 55% marks
Course Duration: 2 years

M.Sc. Nursing

Course Duration: 2 years
Candidate must be a registered nurse and registered midwife under State Nursing Council
Must have passed Basic B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum 55% marks
